Jaromir Jagr becomes oldest ever to score at world championship

Even in the offseason, the record books aren't safe from Jaromir Jagr.
At 43 years and 76 days old, the Florida Panthers forward became the oldest player to ever score a goal at the IIHF World Hockey Championship on Friday as his native Czech Republic battled Sweden in the opening game for both nations.
Jagr, who came out of international retirement to compete in the tournament, redirected a shot by Czech defenseman Jakub Nakladal past goaltender Jhonas Enroth to cut Sweden's lead to 2-1 at 13:28 of the first period.
The score was Jagr's 50th as a member of the Czech national team.
