Global Spectrum, a subsidiary of the Philadelphia Flyers parent company, Comcast-Spectacor, has agreed to partner with IceArizona to ensure the financial and promotional success of the Glendale arena.
IceArizona purchased the Phoenix Coyotes from the National Hockey League on August 5, 2013.
Global Spectrum manages the Wells Fargo Center, home of the Flyers, and the University of Phoenix Stadium, home of the Arizona Cardinals, which neighbors Jobing.com Arena. The company manages more than 115 facilities around the world.
In addition to managing and operating Jobing.com Arena, Global Spectrum will secure additional events and attractions to the venue.
Anthony LeBlanc, Phoenix Coyotes co-owner, president and CEO, called the agreement with Global Spectrum the perfect addition to an already world-class team.
"We are very pleased to partner with Global Spectrum to manage and operate Jobing.com Arena," said LeBlanc. "We are confident that Global Spectrum will do amazing things for us in Glendale. It's difficult to imagine a better partner."
Comcast-Spectacor President Peter Luukko said he envisions synergy between the hockey arena and football stadium in booking events.
"Based on our expertise in booking similar-size venues around the world, we are confident we can do great things together at Jobing.com Arena," Luukko said.
