SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) — Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander was active for Green Bay's divisional-round playoff game against the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday.

Alexander had been listed as questionable after injuring his ankle last week against Dallas.

Punter Daniel Whelan and linebacker Isaiah McDuffie were also active for the Packers after being listed as questionable. Running back AJ Dillon was inactive with injuries to his thumb and neck.

The 49ers placed defensive end Clelin Ferrell on injured reserve and activated special teams standout George Odum before the game.

Ferrell got hurt in Week 18 and now will miss the rest of the season. He started all 17 games in the regular season with 3 1/2 sacks, six tackles for loss and 13 quarterback hits.

Odum had been out since injuring his biceps against Seattle on Thanksgiving. He is one of San Francisco's top special teams players and provides depth at safety.

San Francisco's inactive players were receiver Ronnie Bell, tackle Matt Pryor, linebacker Jalen Graham and cornerback Samuel Womack III. Brandon Allen was the third quarterback.

The 49ers elevated defensive linemen Alex Barrett and T.Y. McGill from the practice squad to get playoff checks but made them inactive.

The other players who were inactive for Green Bay were defensive tackle Kingsley Enagbare (knee), receiver Malik Heath, safety Benny Sapp III, linebacker Brenton Cox Jr. and tackle Caleb Jones.

The Packers elevated linebacker Keshawn Banks from the practice squad for the game.
