Raiders list Brown, Young, Kwiatkoski as doubtful
HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) — The Las Vegas Raiders could once again be without their top two right tackles for this week’s game against New Orleans.
The Raiders listed starter Trent Brown and backup Sam Young as doubtful for Monday night's game against the Saints. Brown played one series of the opener before leaving with a calf injury and Young injured his groin later in the first half.
Backup guard Denzelle Good filled in the rest of the way and could handle the role this week if Brown and Young can’t go. According to research from Football Outsiders, 99% of players listed as doubtful the past four seasons missed the upcoming game.
Linebacker Nick Kwiatkoski also is listed as doubtful with a pectoral injury.
Speedy rookie receiver Henry Ruggs returned to practice on Saturday after missing time with a banged-up knee and is listed as questionable.
