BOTTOM LINE: The Montreal Canadiens host Edmonton after the Oilers knocked off Toronto 3-2 in overtime.

The Canadiens are 14-8-9 against North Division opponents. Montreal leads the NHL with seven shorthanded goals, led by Tyler Toffoli with two.
