Lesnar, the company's biggest pay-per-view draw, was supposed to defend his title against the undefeated Shane Carwin on Nov. 21 but has been unable to fully train for almost a month because of an illness.
"He said he's never been this sick in his life," UFC president Dana White told Yahoo!. "He said it's been going on for a long time and he just hasn't been able to shake it."
The report on the UFC's Web site said the company hopes to reschedule the bout for early 2010. The bout featuring the returning Tito Ortiz and Forrest Griffin will now be the main event for UFC 106 in Las Vegas.
On Carwin's Twitter page there's a post saying, "It's dissappinting hearing about your career and life through the media."
