LAS VEGAS (AP) - Four-time world champion Joel Casamayor of Cuba has earned a unanimous decision victory over American Jason Davis.

All three judges scored the super-lightweight bout 79-73 in favor of Casamayor on Friday.

The 38-year old Casamayor paced himself throughout the first five rounds before taking control. He landed numerous power punches in the sixth round and dominated the rest of the way.

"I was turning it on in the sixth and getting my rhythm," Casamayor said. "It's better than a first-round knockout. I needed the work."

Casamayor is now looking for a title shot.

"I felt real good," he said. "I haven't fought in a year. I'm an old school fighter and I'm ready for anyone."
