It appears that reports of discussions surrounding a third Evander Holyfield-Mike Tyson fight were more than slightly overblown.

The Fight Network talked to Holyfield Thursday, enquiring about a report in the London Guardian that said "The Real Deal" spoke to Tyson's trainer Jeff Fenech about facing Tyson one more time.

Holyfield told The Fight Network that he did speak to Fenech once about the idea of a third fight, but that the discussion was merely casual and not an actual proposal.

"We discussed it, but it was nothing that was concrete," Holyfield said. "He just asked me if I would fight Tyson again if all things were right. And I said sure, if ALL things were right, but that's it.

"It wasn't a proposal, it was just a regular conversation."
