Adrian "Confessor" Hernandez, who hasn't lost in more than three years, scored a technical knockout of Janiel Rivera Saturday night in Huixquilucan, Mexico, in a title defense for Hernandez's World Boxing Council light flyweight crown.

Hernandez, 28, of Mexico, stopped Rivera at 1:37 of the third round. Hernandez (29-3-1, 18 KOs) now has defended his title four times.

He last lost in December 2011.

Rivera, 22, of Puerto Rico, fell to 10-2. He is a protege of multi-division world champion Miguel Cotto.
