Logan Thomas sets Virginia Tech's total offense record

Starting, of course, with a phenom named Michael Vick in 1999, the Hokies have been led by the likes of Bryan Randall and Tyrod Taylor — all three of whom led Beamer's program to a BCS bowl; Vick carried them to the 1999 national title game — over the past 15 seasons. Current Hokies quarterback Logan Thomas has run into his share of difficulties in his final two seasons in Blacksburg, but he'll complete his Virginia Tech career having cemented himself among those names.
During Saturday's 34-27 loss to Boston College, Thomas bypassed all of those previous names on the school's all-time list for total offense (career yards) as he threw for 391 yards and two touchdowns and ran for another 38 yards:
Logan Thomas: TBD
Tyrod Taylor: 8,719
Bryan Randall: 8,034
Thomas has an opportunity to finish on top of nearly every statistical category for Virginia Tech quarterbacks (outside of wins, for what that's worth) having already set the school record for completions (633), passing yards (8,152) and rushing TDs by a QB (24) this season.
It's probably worth mentioning that Michael Vick only played two seasons and remains the standard for Hokies signal-callers.
However, despite the team's struggles in recent years, Thomas is winning the numbers game.
