Selection Sunday is upon us. There are still a couple of championship games that could knock out a couple of bubble teams today.

Here's an assessment of who's in and who's out in our daily look at the bracket this week.

Brackets are updated through games of March 15.

SOUTH REGIONAL/HOUSTON

5. Vanderbilt The Commodores are led by the 1-2 punch of Shan Foster and A.J. Ogilvy
12. Ohio State The Buckeyes get in the field thanks to late-season wins against Purdue and Michigan State
4. Drake Keno Davis' team pulled off the sweep in the Missouri Valley
13. Oral Roberts Scott Sutton's team won the Summit tournament to punch its ticket
At Birmingham
3. Xavier The A-10 semifinal loss shouldn't affect high seed
14. Winthrop New coach, same old success for program
6. Purdue Matt Painter remains favorite to win National Coach of Year
11. Arizona The Wildcats extend their streak to 24 consecutive tourney berths ... barely

7. West Virginia The Mountaineers have improved their seeding of late
10. Kentucky Billy Gillispie's team turned things around in SEC play
2. Kansas Bill Self's club has an outside shot at a No. 1 seed, but is likely a No. 2

At Washington, D.C.
5. Michigan State The Spartans have been difficult to figure this year
12. George Mason Could the Patriots be a Cinderella story again?
4. UConn The Huskies have gotten a boost out of point guard A.J. Price this year
13. Boise State Greg Graham's team won the WAC tourney
At Washington, D.C.
3. Louisville A completely different team since David Padgett returned
14. Siena The Saints knocked off Rider in the MAAC title game
6. Washington State The lack of a big-time win could hurt the Cougars' seed
11. South Alabama Swept Western Kentucky and also knocked off Mississippi State this year
At Omaha
7. Gonzaga The 'Zags are as healthy as they've been all year
10. Kent State Jim Christian's team swept MAC regular-season and tourney titles
2. Texas Longhorns tied Kansas for Big 12 regular-season title
15. Belmont Rick Byrd's team won the A-Sun tourney and has plenty of shooters

EAST REGIONAL/CHARLOTTE

1. North Carolina Talk about a nice home-court advantage
16. Play-In: Mississippi Valley State/Mount St. Mary's The SWAC champion plays the Northeast champs for the right to face the Tar Heels
8. Kansas State The Michael Beasley Show
9. Mississippi State The Bulldogs are led by Jamont Gordon
At Denver
5. Notre Dame The Irish have strong guards and Luke Harangody up front
12. Arizona State The Sun Devils boast wins against Stanford and Xavier as well as a sweep of Arizona
4. Butler Won the Horizon regular-season and tournament titles
13. San Diego The Toreros pulled off upset against Gonzaga to earn automatic bid
At Little Rock
3. Wisconsin The Badgers have done it with balance and coaching
14. Cal State-Fullerton The Titans won the Big West crown
6. Marquette Tom Crean has a terrific group of perimeter players
11. Temple The Owls came on strong and earned the automatic bid by winning the A-10 tourney
At Omaha
7. Arkansas The Razorbacks will play for the SEC title today
10. Davidson Bob McKillop's club tore through the Southern Conference — again
2. Georgetown The Hoyas hoping for back-to-back Final Four trips
15. Portland State The Vikings won the Big Sky tourney for the first time

MIDWEST REGIONAL/DETROIT

1. Tennessee Vols finished strong and won SEC regular-season title
16. Coppin State Fang Michell's team was 4-19 at one point this season
8. Oklahoma The Sooners are led by underrated freshman big man Blake Griffin

At Tampa
5. Clemson Tigers deserve high seed with berth in ACC title game
12. Illinois State First-year coach Tim Jankovich has done terrific job with Redbirds
4. Pittsburgh Levance Fields is back, and so are the Panthers
13. Western Kentucky Earned the bid with a win in the Sun Belt's conference tourney
At Anaheim
3. Stanford Cardinal rebounded to beat Arizona and Washington State in Pac-10 tourney
14. Cornell A battle of academic schools
6. Indiana The Hoosiers have struggled since Sampson debacle
11. Saint Joseph's Earned an at-large with a berth in A-10 title game
At Raleigh
7. USC Trojans are led by freshman O.J. Mayo
10. Baylor The Bears are one of this year's best stories
2. Duke Blue Devils coming off tough loss to UNC, and tough loss in ACC tourney
15. UMBC Randy Monroe's club beat Hartford in the America East title game
