Duke freshman Taylor King is leaving.

According to sources close to the situation, the 6-foot-6 forward has decided to transfer.

King, who averaged 5.5 points and two rebounds this season while averaging 9.7 minutes per game, will likely wind up at either Gonzaga or Villanova — two schools he was considering before he committed to Duke.

King is a big-time perimeter shooter who scored a career-high 27 points and was 6-of-11 from long distance against Eastern Kentucky on Nov. 25. However, his playing time decreased significantly towards the end of the season and he played just four minutes in each of the Blue Devils two NCAA tournament games.
