Utah (12-0, 8-0), which will go to a BCS bowl, forced five turnovers by BYU quarterback Max Hall, including a career-high four interceptions, and went unbeaten in the regular season for the third time in school history. The last Utah team to do it was the BCS Busters of 2004, which then won the Fiesta Bowl.
Boise unblemished, too
No. 9 Boise State had to knock down a pass in the end zone on the final play to hold on against host Nevada, 41-34. Freshman Kellen Moore passed for 414 yards and three touchdowns, including 319 yards by halftime when the Broncos led 24-3, but threw three interceptions in the third quarter to let Nevada back in the game.
Ian Johnson broke free for a 66-yard touchdown run in the third quarter for Boise State (10-0, 7-0), which clinched its sixth WAC title in seven years.
Buckeyes romp
Terrelle Pryor threw two TD passes, both to Brian Hartline, and Dan Herron ran for two TDs as host No. 10 Ohio State (10-2, 7-1 Big Ten ) romped past Michigan, 42-7. It was the Buckeyes' fifth win in a row in the rivalry, and the biggest margin over Michigan since Woody Hayes coached a 50-14 rout of Michigan in 1968.
Michigan junior tailback Brandon Minor lent some insight regarding what's going on in Ann Arbor: "You can't really blame Rich Rod because everybody on the team did not buy in like they're supposed to. We have a couple of guys not going hard. We'll correct that most definitely. That ain't going to happen on my watch as a senior."
Rebels dump LSU
Jevan Snead threw two touchdown passes, Markeith Summers ran for a 13-yard score out of the "wild Rebel" formation and Mississippi won its fourth straight, 31-13, over No. 18 LSU (7-4, 3-4 SEC ) in Baton Rouge. Ole Miss (7-4, 4-3) could be in line for a Cotton Bowl bid.
