The good: There's no doubt that the Tar Heels are the best team in the country to this point, and they proved that rather convincingly in their win over a quality Notre Dame team in the Maui Invitational championship game.
The bad: After dropping 34 points in only 30 minutes against the Irish, Tyler Hansbrough (pictured) sat out North Carolina's ensuing game last Saturday against UNC-Asheville as a precaution for Wednesday's game vs. Michigan State. While UNC didn't miss Hansbrough too much, there's a chance his stress reaction could linger longer than expected. — Josh Herwitt
