The world's most famous sports bra was reunited with its owner Tuesday when Brandi Chastain received a FedEx package at her San Jose home. The sports bra she exposed while celebrating her winning goal in the 1999 World Cup had been taken into custody by a U.S. bankruptcy court when the museum where it had been displayed, the Sports Museum of America in New York, declared Chapter 7 bankruptcy. She worked with a lawyer for several months to get the bra back. -- Kelly Whiteside
George resigns from Indy Speedway
Tony George stepped down as CEO of Indianapolis Motor Speedway, ending a 19-year reign during which he brought NASCAR, Formula One and Moto GP to the famed racetrack but also divided (and unified) open-wheel racing by founding the Indy Racing League in 1996. George, 49, is also out as president and CEO of the Hulman and Co. family business. Jeffrey G. Belskus will take charge of the Speedway. -- Gary Graves
