Arizona State's James Harden has been named to the five-man first-team All-American squad of the United States Basketball Writers Association, the first time a Sun Devil has earned the honor from the organization. Harden, the 2009 Pac-10 Player of the Year, already has been earned first-team All-American honors by Sporting News, CBSSports.com and FOXSports.com. He is averaging 20.8 points per game, tops in the Pac-10, and has led ASU to back-to-back 20-win seasons for the first time since 1979-80 and 1980-81. He is averaging 20.8 points, 5.5 rebounds and 4.2 assists while shooting 50.2 percent from the floor.
