Great game Jays. Excellent defense on Meeks. <br /><br />It is no wonder "big name" programs won't trade home games with you. You have an excellent facility. Qwest Center would easily be in the top 5 facilities of any "BCS" conf. <br /><br />Great game, great atmosphere, great fans. I am no longer an SIU fan in the Valley. No kidding. This game was as good as any I've seen in the NCAA tourney this year. Some great plays by both teams. I have new respect for this team.

You guys played an AWESOME game. This one was a thrill to watch from beginning to end. I thought the officiating was a bit off on both sides of the floor, but you guys played hard, played tough and played smart. You have one heck of a coach and some great players. We ended up winning it but wasn't because your team lacked skill and spirit. Sometimes the iron is just unkind. We've been on the other side of that close game many times this year. Lost a close one to South Carolina, Louisville and LSU so I know how it feels. Good luck next season!
