RUSTON, La. Just when Boise State looked vulnerable, Kellen Moore and the Broncos quickly reminded a national television audience why they've been unbeatable.

Moore threw for 354 yards and three touchdowns, and No. 5 Boise State survived a brief scare on the road with a 45-35 victory over upstart Louisiana Tech on Friday night.

With the win, Boise State (9-0, 4-0) continued its quest to prove it is more deserving than unbeaten TCU for a Bowl Championship Series bid.

"We know we are going to have people's best shots," Moore said. "It's kind of fun playing in tight games I think. Throw in a little pressure and it just shows the resiliency of this team."

The Broncos appeared to be in danger when Louisiana Tech (3-6, 2-4 WAC) overcame a 27-7 halftime deficit to pull within 30-28 early in the fourth quarter on Dennis Morris' leaping catch in the corner of the end zone.

Then the Broncos defense buckled down and Boise State pulled away with touchdowns on consecutive drives, capped by Jeremy Avery's 44-yard touchdown run.

Avery finished with 146 yards rushing.

Oklahoma State: Former Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant told ESPN.com that he plans to enter the 2010 NFL draft. He disclosed his intentions late Thursday after the NCAA rejected a final appeal by the school to reinstate the junior All-American who lied about contact with former NFL player Deion Sanders.

Bryant told ESPN.com that entering the draft is "the best decision for me" and that he will start training for the NFL combine next week in Florida. "The NCAA has made their decision. And I respect that. And now I've made mine,'' he said.

Coaches poll: The final regular-season ballot of every voter in the USA Today college football coaches' poll will remain public. The coaches had considered making those votes confidential.

Florida: Urban Meyer became the first coach to be disciplined under the Southeastern Conference's new policy regarding criticizing officials. Meyer was fined $30,000 two days after he said referees missed a late hit against quarterback Tim Tebow against Georgia.
