Florida Strategy and Personnel

QB Tim Tebow -- Tebow will get a chance to add to his lore if he can lead the Gators to their first win over Miami since 1985. Tebow didn't call his own number much against Hawaii, but may need to improvise more, especially if Miami generates a consistent pass rush.
RB/KR Brandon James -- James recorded his third career punt return for a touchdown against Hawaii and led Florida with 121 all-purpose yards. For his efforts, he was named Southeastern Conference special teams player of the week.
WR Louis Murphy -- Murphy, a St. Petersburg native, wanted to go to Miami but was never recruited by the Hurricanes and wound up at Florida. He created a stir this week when he referred to Florida as "The U", stealing Miami's nickname because he said that it belongs to a team that wins championships. Murphy, who caught a 48-yard TD pass against Hawaii in the season-opener, will get a chance to back up his words Saturday.
DT Lawrence Marsh -- Marsh was impressive in his starting debut as tackle, finishing with two sacks. Against Miami, he will be counted on to stuff the run inside against a more physical offensive line.
ROSTER REPORT:
--Starting WR Percy Harvin (heel) returned to practice at full speed this week and is expected to make his season debut Saturday. "Out there running routes, I'm still leading him by another two feet than anybody else," Tebow said. "He looks 100 percent, ready to go."
--Starting MLB Brandon Spikes (toe) is probable for Saturday.
--UF offensive line coach Steve Addazio said that starting OG Jim Tartt (shoulder) will be back after sitting out the Hawaii game.
--Reserve MLB Ryan Stamper (broken thumb) is questionable for Miami. Meyer said Stamper underwent surgery on the thumb Sunday.
--Senior OT-DT Ronnie Wilson is practicing with the team but remains suspended indefinitely. Wilson was charged with two misdemeanors during an incident in which he fired an assault weapon in the air outside a nightclub across the street from campus.
