Report: McCoy says he'll return for senior year

He has until January to decide, but quartreback Colt McCoy says he's already made up his mind to return to the University of Texas for his senior season.

"I'm going to play here for four years," the junior, a favorite to win the 2008 Heisman Trophy, told the Sporting News. "I've been blessed to get to play here. Not very many people get to (start) here for four years, so what an opportunity."

McCoy is having a big season, completing 81.2 percent of his passes for the top-ranked Longhorns and piling up 19 touchdown passes, but opinions vary widely on where he might be selected if he declares for the 2009 NFL Draft.

"He is not the premier NFL prospect you would expect," one scout told the magazine. "He has an adequate arm to make most NFL throws but does not show the very strong arm to fit the ball into tight spots consistently in the NFL."

Hey, leave mcbinkosu alone. He is right. Ohio State does not lose to bad teams. Illinois was not bad last year, they just weren't that good as USC clearly demonstrated. Of course Ohio State hasn't beaten a good team in over two years, in fact they get blown out by every good team they play. You have to admire mcbrinkosu's character, instead of being embarrassed he hides himself in fantasy (maybe that's why the Big 10 hasn't improved for the last several years).

Everyone has to look at their situation. VY was in a position where his family needed the money! Colt's family does not! VY certainly would have been better off staying for his senior season but all of us have to do what we have to do! Remember, the purpose of college is to prepare the student to make a living so if they would make more by leaving then who are we to say they shouldn't. As for Colt's deficiencies, the scouts said the same thing about a QB from Notre Dame named Montana. He didn't amount to much either, did he?

You must be a housewife if you think:

1. Losing to good teams is OK.
2. Beating K-State and the hapless Ags is worth writing down.

ohhh little little mcbrink. I look at your post and laugh. You are one of the little peasants of the world who sits on his computer and strokes off to the short comings of the little 10, and then tries to down play other conferences. The little 10 has been the joke of the league for a long long time. He knows it, so he has to throw up NFL stats on a college board. The truth is hard for little **** chuggers like yourself isn?t it. You are the guy that could not get laid in a w.hore house, and your mcbrink stats are down right hilarious. TX wipes its as.s with states like ohio, and you are just part of the crap that falls in the toilet. Please take your worthless self back to where the re.tards roam, so that someone can actually make sense out of you.

How dumb can one man be? Man did you make a great point for Ohio State. Every loss that you mention was to the team that won the National Championship. OSU doesn't lose to bad teams.

2006- Kansas State, Texas A+M
2007- Kansas State, Texas A+M

Man are you pathetic! Get a clue BUMPASS.

A woman, indeed. You're right about that - the women of the Big XII can't hold a candle to those tanless hotties from places like Cleveland, Chippewah Falls, and Newark.

Sublime!

You boys have plenty of time to change your pictures and make useless points. Texas sounds like a real hoot. Keep dreaming big boys. Some day a real woman might be involved.

Fact is Texas players make a bigger impact in the NFL. Not even close.
