FOOTBALL'S SEAN BAKER NAMED TO TWO ALL-AMERICA TEAMS

A free safety for the Cardinals, Baker is tied for 14th in the nation in interceptions per game with a 0.46 average. He had six interceptions this season plus ranked second for the Cardinals with 94 tackles. Baker also added four tackles for loss, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and 10 pass breakups in 2008. He scored two defensive touchdowns for Ball State this season - a 40-yard interception return for a TD at Indiana, and a 33-yard fumble return for a score at Akron. Baker was named the Walter Camp Foundation National Defensive Player of the Week earlier this season after tying a Ball State school record with three interceptions at Akron in addition to his fumble return for a touchdown. Baker played in all 14 games and started the final 10 contests.
