SIX EAGLES HONORED AT RED-WHITE GAME

Also the team's offensive MVP last season and a two-time Big Sky All-Academic selection, Davis enters his senior season with 136 career catches for 1,618 yards and nine touchdowns. Hatch, who graduated from nearby Freeman (Wash.) High School in 2004, has started 24 games at free safety for the Eagles. He had 60 tackles last season, with career totals of 150 tackles, five interceptions and 12 passes broken up. Winning most improved honors on offense were sophomore running back Darriell Beaumonte and sophomore offensive lineman Ray Falelaulii. Both are from the Tacoma, Wash., area - Beaumonte is from Lakewood and graduated from Clover Park High School in 2007, and Falelaulii is from University Place and graduated in 2007 from Curtis. On defense, the winners were junior cornerback Dante Calcote and senior defensive lineman Josh Jacobson. Calcote is from Seattle and graduated in 2006 from Renton High School, and Jacobson is a 2005 graduate of Rogers High School in Puyallup, Wash. In Saturday's Red-White Game, Davis had five catches for 43 yards and Hatch had a scrimmage-high seven tackles with as well as a forced fumble. Beaumonte rushed four times for 12 yards and caught a pass for eight yards, and Calcote had six tackles. The Red-White game concluded the third week of spring practices for the Eagles, who open their season at home on Sept. 5 against Western Oregon.
