Position: Receiver.
The lowdown: He caught the game-winning touchdown pass in the final seconds to defeat Japan, 38-35, on Wednesday. He finished with five receptions for 98 yards and had a key 18-yard kickoff return.
Q: Now that you've had time to reflect, what are your thoughts on that game-winning touchdown?
A: It was one of the greatest moments of my life. Coming from behind like that to win the game to get us to the gold-medal game. I knew we had to do something to score, and I wanted to be the guy.
Q: How old were you when you began playing football ?
A: I was 7 years old.
Q: What is your first football memory?
A: It was the first touchdown I ever scored. I was in the fifth grade and I was on the worst team ever. We didn't win a game for four years straight. But, we were playing a game called the Silver Cup for the two worst teams. The score was 0-0 and it was the last play of the game. I was playing quarterback and went 90 yards for a touchdown.
Q: Hamburger or hot dog?
A: Hamburger.
Q: Steak or lobster?
A: Steak.
Q: What's on your iPod?
A: Kanye West, John Mayer, Citizen Cope, Coldplay.
Q: What is your greatest fear?
A: I fear myself. I am the only one who can stop me, prevent me from accomplishing the things I want to accomplish.
Q: If they were doing a movie of your life, who would you want to play you?
A: Mark Wahlberg.
Q: Who is your all-time favorite football player?
A: Jerry Rice.
Q: What do you like about America?
A: Football is my life and it is like a religion here. I wish I could play college football here.
Q: If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three things would you want to have with you?
A: My iPod, my dog and lots of food.
Q: If you could have dinner with any three people, who would they be?
A: Jerry Rice, Tiger Woods and Joe Montana.
Q: Are you a fan of college football or the NFL?
A: College , for sure. The Oregon Ducks.
Q: Have the last two weeks been all you imagined they would be?
A: More. It's been one of the greatest experiences of my life. We had 79 guys show up in training camp and had to trim it to 45. We went through two-a-days for two weeks straight and it was very hard. But this experience has been incredible.
