Nice come-back win. I grew up in Nebraska but attended USM and the Miss Gulf Coast Comm College when stationed at Keesler AFB in Biloxi, MS during the mid 80's. I remember Fla ST. and USM had a home and away back then and USM only seated 30K or so. So Bobby Bowden talked USM into trading their home game for a big paycheck to play at Tallahasee FL. USM went in there and beat Fla ST. I still refer to USM as 'The Giant Killers'. LOL<br /><br />Go Eagles

Yeah, they put a whole game together Saturday! And that was in less than 3 complete quarters!!! Defense played well and the offense... You know.<br /><br />Looking at the way we've lost most of our games, it's just been a few points here and there. The BSU game and the Auburn games were the only ones we lost by more than a touchdown. Just a few plays here and there make all the difference.<br /><br />So... Our losses total 52 points. Since we beat UAB by 56, I've decided 25 of the points should be deducted from the winning games and allocated as follows:<br /><br />Marshall - 8 points (W)<br />UTEP - 4 points (W)<br />Rice - 6 points (W)<br />Memphis - 7 points (W)<br /><br />I will concede the Auburn and BSU games. We rarely beat the SEC (except for Bama a few years back) and BSU is just plain good.<br /><br />Best of luck to your Broncos against the Aggies. <br /><br />Go Eagles! Beat the Knights!
