But despite the game very much in the air at the time, the UConn scoreboard operator already their attention on the UConn women's team, and its game Monday night against top-ranked Baylor. So much for home-court advantage.

In New Orleans, there was a football played indoors Sunday, that ended with some players likely sipping champagne. In Champaign, Ill., on Sunday, there was a basketball game played indoors, but players likely ran for a heater after it was over. Ultimately, the host Illini were left out in the cold, losing a Big Ten matchup with Wisconsin, 74-68.
