The holiday tournaments provided some eye-opening moments. Syracuse really proved itself by winning the Maui Invitational and there was great carryover for the Orange on Tuesday night when Jim Boeheim’s team crushed Indiana in the Carrier Dome. Kansas and Oklahoma State suffered surprising losses, but we welcome Villanova, San Diego State and Dayton to the rankings this week.
