--Senior forward Grant Parker has emerged as an offensive force, scoring 24 points or more three times in the Falcons' first five games. Take away a 0-for-10 shooting effort against Northern Colorado, and Parker has made 29 of 44 shots (65.9 percent).

--Air Force typically makes a lot of 3-point shots, but the Falcons had their streak of 513 games with at least one 3-pointer made snapped with an 0-for-17 performance against Northern Colorado. The previous time Air Force had failed to make at least one 3-pointer was Dec. 4, 1991.

KEY EARLY-SEASON GAME: vs. Washington State in Spokane, Dec. 12 -- Air Force has an opportunity to slay a Pac-10 team on a neutral court that will still be pro-Washington State. The rest of the December schedule is soft.

LAST YEAR'S CONFERENCE RECORD: 0-16, ninth place in Mountain West.
