WHAT WE LEARNED IN NOVEMBER: Air Force was overmatched against the best team it played (Northern Colorado) but played well against the teams it was better than. Grant Parker (18.2 points per game) and Evan Washington (14.6) have stepped up to be the team's offensive leaders.

DECEMBER AT A GLANCE: The Falcons better roll up the victory total while it has a chance. The soft slate includes winnable games against Prairie View A&M, Northern Arizona and UC Davis.

PLAYER ROTATION: Usual Starters -- F Mike McLain, F Grant Parker, C Sammy Schafer, G Avery Merriex, G Evan Washington. Key Subs -- F Tom Fow, F Taylor Stewart, G Michael Lyons, G Shawn Hempsey.

ROSTER REPORT:

--Sophomore C Sammy Schafer isn't expected back until mid-December after suffering a concussion. Schafer, who started Air Force's first three games, is still experiencing headaches.

--Junior F Tom Fow suffered a concussion during practice and missed the Dec. 2 contest against North Carolina Central.

--Freshman C Taylor Broekhuis missed back-to-back games with a lower-leg injury.

--Senior F Grant Parker was named Mountain West Conference Player of the Week for the week ending Nov. 29 after producing the first double-double (25 points, 11 rebounds) of his career against Charleston Southern.
