WHAT WE LEARNED IN NOVEMBER: The Crimson Tide has picked up its shooting a bit in the early going. After shooting 44.2 percent overall and only 32.8 from three-point range last season, the Tide was hitting 45.8 and 37.5, respectively, in the first month.

DECEMBER AT A GLANCE: The Tide has a big challenge coming up Dec. 12 when Purdue visits. The Boilermakers are rated a strong contender in the Big Ten. Kansas State also comes to Mobile on Dec. 19. With the schedule, the Tide has the opportunity to build some momentum heading into league play.

PLAYER ROTATION: Usual Starters -- F JaMycal Green, F Tony Mitchell, G Mikhail Torrance, G Senario Hillman, G Anthony Brock. Key Subs -- F Justin Knox, G Charvez Davis, G Ben Eblen.

ROSTER REPORT:

--Freshman F Tony Mitchell left the game against North Florida midway through the second half because of a knee injury, but later returned. The injury was diagnosed as a bruised knee.

--Sophomore G Andrew Steele will be out an indefinite period after a stress fracture was discovered in his ankle. He started the first six games.

--G Anthony Brock sat out the first two games while serving a suspension but it didn't hurt his shooting eye. He was hitting half of his three-point shots in the first four games after his return. He adds needed depth and experience in the backcourt
