Arkansas remains a mystery team in the SEC in the early going because the Razorbacks have yet to have all the players available they hope to have around when SEC play begins.

Among the missing have been guard Courtney Fortson, who was the team's second-leading scorer and the second-leading assist man in the league as a freshman last season, and guards Marcus Britt and Stefan Welsh.

Fortson was suspended indefinitely before the season began for comments he made on his Twitter account following a fraternity house incident that resulted in the suspensions for his teammates.

Fortson also told coach John Pelphrey he had other issues he needed to work out.

Britt was suspended for the first six games, and Welsh sat out the first three to resolve issues not related to the incident.

Both have returned along with forward forward Michael Sanchez, who missed five games with plantar fascitis. He returned on Nov. 29 and played 16 minutes in a home loss to South Alabama and followed with 24 minutes against Oklahoma.

But as Sanchez returned, veteran forward Michael Washington sat out the losses to the Jaguars and Sooners.

Assuming all the players either return from suspensions or get well from injuries, how they will mesh once together will be a key to the Hogs' attempt to climb out of the Western Division cellar, where they rested last year with a 2-14 SEC record.
