WHAT WE LEARNED IN NOVEMBER: Auburn struggled with turnovers in the early going. Through the first five games, the Tigers had 101 turnovers against only 70 assists and were last in the SEC in assist-to-turnover ratio.

DECEMBER AT A GLANCE: The Tigers have back-to-back games against ACC opponents coming up, with a home game against Virginia and a trip to Florida State. The Seminoles should provide a better measure of how the Tigers stack up heading into league play.

PLAYER ROTATION: Usual Starters -- F Lucas Hargrove, C Brendon Knox, G DeWayne Reed, G Frankie Sullivan, G Earnest Ross. Key Subs -- F Johnnie Lett, F Ty Armstrong, G Andre Malone, G Tony Neysmith.

ROSTER REPORT:

--Sophomore G Frankie Sullivan, who had only one start as a freshman, went on a scoring tear in the Glenn Wilkes Classic. In the three games played in Daytona Beach, Sullivan averaged 21.0 points and shot 54.1 percent from the field and 50 percent (12-of-24) from three-point range.

--G Earnest Ross became the first freshman to start an opener for Auburn since Quantez Robertson, Josh Dollard, and Joey Cameron took the season's opening tip against Lipscomb in 2005-06.

--G Tay Waller made his season debut against Alabama A&M on Dec. 1 after working his way back onto the practice court late in November. After having missed the first six games because of a quad injury, Waller scored 13 points in only 17 minutes, going 5-of-7 from the field in Auburn's 87-52 victory.
