--Sam Singh was granted a sixth year of eligibility last spring by the NCAA after missing two previous seasons with injuries. The 6-9 Singh was expected to be a stabilizing factor in the Braves' front line, but the development of Will Egolf and Anthony Thompson has pushed Singh into the background. Singh didn't play in two of the first six games, but will probably be called upon by coach Jim Les when Valley games begin.

--Those who wondered if Andrew Warren could regain the form he showed as a sophomore aren't wondering anymore. Warren scored 13 points in the opener at BYU and sank a 3-pointer with 36 seconds left against Illinois to put the Braves ahead to stay. By the time conference games roll around, Warren should be near 100 percent.

KEY EARLY-SEASON CONFERENCE GAME: vs. Southern Illinois, Jan. 1 -- The Valley race figures to be up for grabs and holding serve at home against another contender will be crucial. This will be Bradley's first look at SIU guard Tony Freeman, a senior transfer from Iowa who was on the All-Valley preseason team.

LAST YEAR'S CONFERENCE RECORD: 10-8, fourth place in Missouri Valley.
