COLLEGE BASKETBALL ;OSU on Big Monday once

In the past five years, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State have combined to play 23 Big Monday games in Big 12 men's basketball.

How many Big Monday games will the two state schools play this year?

One.

Not one apiece - one combined.

The TV powers-that-be no doubt think this will be a down year for the Cowboys and Sooners. OU will have to replace four of its five starters, and OSU will be replacing its two leading scorers.

Oklahoma State will travel to Kansas on Feb. 21 to take on the Jayhawks in the only Big Monday appearance for either state school.

This is the first time since the inception of the Big 12 that Oklahoma will not play a Big Monday game. It will be the first time since the 2001-02 season that the Cowboys will not have a Big Monday game in Stillwater.
