--Guard Kemba Walker is doing a nice job at the point now that he's taken over for the departed A.J. Price. He led the team in assists through six games and had a career-high 10 in the victory over Boston University.

--Rebounding has been a weakness for the Huskies early in the season. That was most apparent in the loss to Duke in the final of the Preseason NIT, in which they gave up 25 offensive rebounds.

KEY EARLY-SEASON CONFERENCE GAME: at Georgetown, Jan. 9 -- The Hoyas made a statement last season by going on the road and knocking off the Huskies, but that turned out to be the high point of Georgetown's season. UConn will be looking to return the favor by knocking off a thin-but-talented Hoyas squad, though hopefully without the corresponding collapse afterward.

LAST YEAR'S CONFERENCE RECORD: 15-3, tied for second place in Big East.
