WHAT WE LEARNED IN NOVEMBER: Duquesne is pretty resilient. The Dukes lost sophomore guard Melquan Bolding to a broken wrist, suffered during his 25-point performance in the opener against Nicholls State, yet continue to win without him.

DECEMBER AT A GLANCE: The Dukes play a relative easy home schedule leading into conference play and should win them all. However, road games at West Virginia on Dec. 9 and Old Dominion on Dec. 30 will be good tests.

PLAYER ROTATION: Usual Starters -- F Damian Saunders, G Bill Clark, G Jason Duty, G Eric Evans, G B.J. Monteiro. Key Subs ?- F Rodriguo Peggau, G Sean Johnson.

ROSTER REPORT:

--Freshman F Rodrigo Peggau logged 27 minutes off the bench in the 67-59 double-overtime loss to Pittsburgh on Dec. 2 after playing a combined 18 minutes in Duquesne's first six games this season. Peggau was redshirted last season after undergoing knee surgery and had been limited by pain because of pain in the knee this season.

--Junior F Damian Saunders had double-doubles in each of Duquesne's first six games, averaging 16.8 points and 15.5 rebounds a game in that span. That is the longest streak by a Duquesne player since Bruce Atkins had 10 in a row in 1982. Saunders had 19 rebounds in the season-opening victory over Nicholls State, the most by a Duquesne player since Simon Ogunlesi pulled down 20 against Hampton in 2000.

--Sophomore G B.J. Monteiro is averaging 13.3 points in his six games as a starter. He is replacing sophomore G Melquan Bolding, who suffered a broken right wrist while scoring 25 points in the season-opening victory over Nicholls State.
