JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (AP)

Marcus Dubose scored 23 points and Isiah Brown added 20 as East Tennessee State led from start to finish in an 84-71 win over Florida Gulf Coast Saturday in the regular-season finale for both teams.

Adam Sollazzo surpassed 1,000 points in his career with 19 and Tommy Hubbard added 15 for the Buccaneers (16-13, 10-8 Atlantic Sun Conference), who have won three straight.

The Buccaneers dominated close to the basket, outscoring the Eagles 42-26 in the paint. East Tennessee State made 15 of 24 field goal attempts in the second half and shot 50.9 percent (29 of 57) for the game.

East Tennessee State opened the game with a 12-0 run and led 40-26 at halftime. The Buccaneers' biggest lead was 22 points.

Bernard Thompson scored 14 points and Filip Cvjeticanin added 13 for the Eagles (13-16, 8-10), who have lost three straight and five of their past six games.
