We'll keep it flowing until about 6 p.m. ET.
6:28 p.m. ET — That's all for today, folks. Thanks for stopping by. Check out our best of the day roundup for the rest of the Friday fun. Enjoy the games!
6:17 p.m. ET — A closed-captioner had a little fun with the way Charles Barkley says things.
5:57 p.m. ET — Indiana has matters well in hand. Illinois up 14 on Colorado as we hit the late afternoon lull.
5:20 p.m. ET — Creighton hangs on for a 67-63 win over Cincy. LaSalle survives Kansas State's comeback bid in a last-second finish. The tourney is rolling now.
5:01 p.m. ET — The Frank Martin link worked! Kansas State has roared back to grab the lead over LaSalle with 6:17 to go. Creighton and Cincy going down to the wire too. This day is spicing up.
4:52 p.m. ET — Some people took No. 3 seed New Mexico's loss to Harvard hard yesterday. Perhaps none more than this sportswriter, who appears to maybe have quit his job via anti-Lobo Internet manifesto.
4:30 p.m. ET — Leave it to Marshall Henderson to sum up the events of his day best:
I SUCK AND GET A LEBRON TWEET!!! HAHAHAHA I DONT WANNA HEAR NOBODY SAY NOTHIN, IVE MADE IT!!!— marshall henderson (@NativeFlash22) March 22, 2013
4:16 p.m. ET — While K-State fans are hoping coach Bruce Weber is motivating the Wildcats for a big second-half comeback, No. 2 seed Miami finishes off Pacific with an easy 78-49 victory. Creighton leads Cincinnati 37-36 early in the second half and top-seeded Indiana is about to take the floor against 21-point underdog James Madison.
4:03 p.m. ET — Upset alert in Kansas City! La Salle leads No. 4 seed Kansas State 44-26 at the half. The Wildcats sure could use this former coach to fire them up in the locker room.
3:48 p.m. ET — Big win for the Temple Owls. They hold off the Wolfpack for a 76-72 victory ... so don't plan on seeing anything like this in the postgame news conference.
3:43 p.m. ET — Scott Wood sinks two free throws to cut the lead to 71-68 with 17.2 seconds to go.
3:40 p.m. ET — Temple and NC State trade free throws; The Owls lead to 70-66 with 24.1 seconds left.
3:38 p.m. ET — With 45 seconds left, an NC State basket trims Temple's lead to four.
3:30 p.m. ET — Scott Wood drains a 3 from the corner and NC State trails 63-60 with 2:58 to go. ... And we know it's early in KC, but La Salle leads K-State 19-9 at the 12-minute mark of the first half.
3:23 p.m. ET — Temple and NC State trade 3s, but the Owls are up eight with 3:50 to go. No. 4 seed Kansas State and No. 13 La Salle are under way in Kansas City, while Miami and Pacific just started the second half in Austin, Texas.
3:17 p.m. ET — With the country's No. 2 scorer Doug McDermott taking a breather and getting some rest on the bench, his Creighton Bluejays take a 12-10 lead over Cincy.
3:03 p.m. ET — Well, Miami is having no problems. The 'Canes are throttling Pacific 40-19 at the half. NC State trying to rally on Temple. Cincinnati and Creighton just under way.
2:42 p.m. ET — MARSHALL HENDERSON! It's not often you can shoot 6-21 and not take heat. But he led all scorers with 19 points in Ole Miss' upset win over No. 5 seed Wisconsin, 57-46. Even LeBron was wowed:
Man that dude Henderson from Ol Miss got the greenest light in basketball history!! Hahaha.— LeBron James (@KingJames) March 22, 2013
2:30 p.m. ET — Big 3-pointer from Marshall pushes the Ole Miss lead to six with less than two to play. He's just 5-20 from the field now, but his team is winning and his 15 points lead all scorers.
2:28 p.m. ET — Duke hangs on with a 73-61 win over the Great Danes. So much for the mustard shoes. Marshall Henderson not faring much better in the second half, but Ole Miss still leads Wisconsin late.
2:08 p.m. ET — How bad was Marshall Henderson's first half? See for yourself. Also, Albany still hanging around with the Dukies. Down just 10 with under six to play. It's gotta be the mustard shoes:
1:51 p.m. ET — Is the Kansas City Star getting a little too riled up about Missouri losing as a No. 9 seed?
1:44 p.m. ET — Duke up 14 as it tries to shake off the feisty Great Danes. Temple NC State are now playing, with the Owls off to a quick start.
1:33 p.m. ET — Marshall Henderson is just 1-11 shooting in the first half, and Ole Miss is down three. Not exactly backing it up after yesterday's brilliant presser.
1:14 p.m. ET — "Shabazz Muhammad is playing today" has been lapped by "Shabazz Muhammad may be 20, not 19" as the best Shabazz Muhammad story of the day. In other shocking revelations, Harvard has been caught cheating ... at the Quiz Bowl.
12:43 p.m. ET — Oh boy. Ole Miss and Wisconsin have tipped. Which means that Marshall Henderson is on the court. This day could get interesting fast. Duke, meanwhile, isn't exactly running away from Albany, up eight at the eight-minute mark.
12:32 p.m. ET — Albany's mascot is the Great Danes, one of our favorite names in the field. Steph Curry should be a good follow this morning. His brother Seth is Duke's star, and he's apparently still sour about his alma mater Davidson's loss yesterday:
12:18 p.m. ET — Hey! Basketball is back! Albany and Duke have started. Christian Laettner has been ready since yesterday:
11:57 a.m. ET — In case you missed our feature content from yesterday ... Davidson gets a dose of the downside of madness, a win well worth the wait for Rotnei Clarke, a roundup of Thursday's best from the tourney, Trey Burke bounces back, and Gonzaga nearly suffers ultimate tourney embarrassment.
11:51 a.m. ET — Welcome back, everyone! We'll get started soon. Albany and Duke tip off the Friday action at 12:15. In the meantime, check your bracket and our celebrity pool, where FOX NFL rules guru Mike Pereira still leads the way.
