LOS ANGELES (AP)
Norman Powell scored a career-high 19 points to lead five players in double figures as UCLA cruised to an 89-60 victory over UC Irvine on Tuesday night.

Tyler Lamb scored 17 points, and Joshua Smith and David Wear each had 12 for UCLA. Lazeric Jones added 11 and six assists.
Chris McNealy scored 11 points and Daman Starring had 10 for Irvine (2-9).
UCLA shot a season-best 54.8 percent and held a 39-21 edge in rebounding.
The Bruins entered the game fresh off an 82-39 rout of UC Davis three days earlier. They turned in another strong performance against an overmatched opponent.
