C-USA announces bowl possibilities

IRVING, Texas (AP)

Conference USA has announced its postseason bowl lineup, which depends on who wins the league's championship game on Saturday.

The only one of the conference's five bowl-eligible teams that is locked into a postseason destination is SMU, which has accepted a bid to the Hawaii Bowl.

If Tulsa beats Central Florida on Saturday, the Golden Hurricane would go to the Liberty Bowl and the Golden Knights would drop to the Beef `O' Brady's Bowl. That would also put Rice in the Armed Forces Bowl and East Carolina in the New Orleans Bowl.

If UCF wins the conference title, it would go to the Liberty Bowl instead. Tulsa would then play in the Armed Forces Bowl, with Rice in the New Orleans Bowl and East Carolina in the Beef `O' Brady's Bowl.
