Website re-posts Erin Andrews nude pics

A U.S.-based gossip website re-posted nude images of ESPN reporter Erin Andrews this week in reaction to a legal threat made by her lawyer, Gather.com reported Friday.
Andrews, 32, became an unwitting internet sensation after she was secretly filmed naked a number of times in hotel rooms through a peephole.
Stills of the video can be seen on various sites on the internet, and one of Andrews' lawyers, Scott Carr, this week emailed TheDirty.com a cease-and-desist letter asking the site to take down the images, Forbes reported.
The site initially refused to remove the photos, and TheDirty.com owner Hooman Karamaian, who uses the alias Nik Richie, reposted the images with accompanying "Dirty" logos and a message for the journalist and her lawyers.
"Erin Andrews, can you ask your lawyers if this is the post they want me to take down because I am confused?" he wrote.
"Welcome back to reality ... your fault. - nik."
Michael David Barrett, a 47-year-old divorced father, was charged with interstate stalking for taking the videos, posting the videos online and trying to sell them to celebrity website TMZ.com.
Barrett pleaded guilty to the interstate stalking charge and was sentenced to 30 months in federal prison and ordered to register as a sex offender.
The photos were no longer visible on TheDirty.com late Friday.
