Wolverines' Robinson refutes punch talk

Robinson wasn’t even called for a foul on the play, but video shows that his left hand hit Indiana’s Jordan Hulls in the face during an incident following a basket.
Some are saying Robinson went so far as to punch Hulls.
Robinson responded Monday afternoon on Twitter with the following message: "Just want to make it CLEAR that i did not purposely punch Hulls in the face, my arm was pushed causing the incident."
Not everyone was automatically buying it.
Seth Davis, a college basketball analyst for CBS, tweeted that the incident "looks bad."
"Big Ten needs to take a gander," Davis added.
ESPN analyst Dan Dakich, a former Indiana player, also chimed in on Twitter: "I don't pretend to know intent … but undeniable there was a punch."
My take is, whether the shot to the face appears intentional or not depends on the angle from which you view it.
From the view behind the basket, it looks as if there's definite intent.
However, the replay from the side makes the contact look considerably more unintentional. That angle shows Robinson getting boxed out by Indiana's Christian Watford, Hulls coming up from behind and then Robinson turning into Hulls with his hand hitting him in the face.
You can make the argument that Robinson didn't even know Hulls was there as he was turning up court.
Robinson, by the way, was held to two points in 40 minutes during the Wolverines’ 81-73 loss.
