4. HOW TO ENTER
No Purchase Necessary. To enter, visit www.foxsports.com and complete the online registration located in the Fantasy Sports Section, with legal first and last name, age, full mailing address (including city, state and zip code), telephone number, e-mail address, and date of birth. Players may register at any time during the course of the Contest. Once registered, you may enter the Contest by submitting a weekly driver line-up (which is your entry) for each Contest Week. Specifically, you can choose four drivers for your team from a list of drivers located online. This list may be updated throughout the Contest. During each Contest Segment, you can only choose each driver a maximum of four times for your team. Driver selection opportunities will not carry over from the first Contest Segment to the second Contest Segment, so once Contest Segment Two begins on July 12, 2008, players may again select any driver up to four times through the end of the Contest. Lineups will carry over from week to week, but once a driver has been used four times during the Contest Segment, that driver will stop accruing points.
5. SCORING
For each Contest Week, points will be earned based on the qualifying and finishing position of all four drivers that you selected for that Contest Week, plus any points earned based on improvement from starting and finishing position, as set forth in this Section 5. Note: Qualifying points will not be awarded for the Daytona 500. The points earned by your selected drivers will be added together to generate your score for that Contest Week. Points earned by your selected drivers will be added together to generate your score for that Contest Week. Points earned from the four drivers that you selected for that Contest Week will be determined by their official finishing position (according to NASCAR) in that Contest Week's scheduled race as follows:

In addition to the points awarded above for final qualifying and finishing positions, each driver will earn one (1) point per position improved between qualifying position and finishing position. All bonus points are awarded based on qualifying position and not starting position. If a driver, for example, qualifies 3rd and then blows an engine in practice and moves to the back of the pack to start the race, any bonus points earned will be based on the position the driver qualified and not where he originally started. All increases over 30 positions earn 30 points. If a player's selected driver finishes a race in a tie for a position, the player will receive points equal to the average of the combined points (rounded to the nearest whole number, with .5 being rounded up) earned by all the drivers tied for the position. For example, if there is a three-way tie for the fourth place position in a race, players who have designated any of these three drivers for their main team will each earn 107 points [(115+105+100)/3] for each of these drivers. In this example, the next fastest driver would be in seventh place. |
For any Contest Week in which a player submits a driver line-up with less than four drivers, or any drivers are selected in violation of these Official Rules (for example, the same driver is selected 5 or more times), the player will only receive points based on the performance of the properly selected drivers. |
Only one driver line-up is allowed per person per Contest Week. If more than one driver line-up is submitted, the most recent one will be used in accordance with Section 4 of the Official Rules. No responsibility is assumed for late, lost or misdirected entries. In the event that a scheduled race does not take place as scheduled, Sponsor reserve the right, at its sole discretion, either to cancel the relevant Contest Week or to treat any rescheduled race as if it was the scheduled race. The three lowest weekly team total scores from the first half of the season will be dropped, as will the three lowest weekly team total scores from the second half of the season.

6. LEAGUES
When entering you can create or join a public or private league of friends or other owners with similar interests, fantasy skill level, etc. to compete against. When creating a league, you will be asked to enter a league name and password which can be used by your friends to join at any time.
