Tillman was roughed up Sunday, allowing five runs (four earned) on eight hits and one walk, while striking out five in five innings, in an eventual Orioles victory versus the Red Sox.
The outing was a rather sour way to complete what was overall the most productive season of Tillman's five-year career. In the end, he set career highs across the board, putting up a 16-7 record and 179:68 K:BB ratio in 206.1 innings (33 starts). His 3.71 ERA and 1.22 WHIP are nothing to sniff at, either, so expect Baltimore to lock the right-hander up to at least a modest contract in the offseason.
