He is hitting just .235 but he has experienced a power surge of late (he smashed two home runs Wednesday night) and now has seven long ones to go with 19 RBI. He is getting fairly regular playing time against right-handed pitching, and should continue to get his at bats, at least until Franklin Gutierrez returns to the lineup.
