Camp signed a minor league contract with the Phillies on Wednesday, Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com reports.
The Cubs gave up on Camp in early July, after the right-hander posted a 7.04 ERA and a 2.7 HR/9 over 26 appearances to begin the 2013 season. He then signed on with the Diamondbacks, and appeared to get himself back on track at Triple-A Reno, with a 2.42 ERA and a 0.8 HR/9 over 22.1 innings. Chances are, the soon-to-be 38-year-old will open next year at the Triple-A level, but he's an obvious candidate for promotion given his experience and ability to eat up innings out of the bullpen.
