The Mets signed Granderson to a four-year deal worth $60 million Friday, Joel Sherman of the NY Post reports.
The Mets had been adamant about sticking with the three-year deal they offered him, but bent on Friday morning. Granderson was seeking $64 million over that contract life, and he got pretty close. Look for him to be the team's starting left fielder, pairing with Juan Lagares and recent acquisition Chris Young to form a solid defensive outfield.
