May 13 8:04pPrado is done trying to prove himself in Arizona, Tyler Emerick of MLB.com reports.
ImpactPrado will always have to answer questions about the seven player, blockbuster trade, that landed him in Arizona. With Justin Upton excelling in his first season with Atlanta, Prado says, with every swing he feels the pressure to prove himself to the Arizona fans. He is off to a very slow start, batting an ice cold .223, and is pacing career lows in nearly all offensive categories. However, this is far from normal for Prado. He is a career .291 hitter, who has hit over .300 in four out of his five seasons with Atlanta. The odds are his sluggish start wont continue all season, so be patient with the new Diamondback and buy-low if you can.
