Drabek (ankle) has been diagnosed with a bone bruise, and X-rays came back negative, the National Post reports.
Drabek left Wednesday's game after taking a line drive off his ankle, but the X-rays appear to show no serious damage. This is a good sign for the righty, who struggled throughout the minors this season as he attempted to get back on track after Tommy John surgery. The 25-year-old will attempt to earn a spot in the Blue Jays' starting rotation during spring training in 2014. He had been a starter before experiencing elbow issues that led to the surgery in June of 2012.
