May 15 3:29pGose is hitting just .229/.333/.336 with two homers and five steals through 36 games at Triple-A Buffalo.
ImpactA closer look at Gose's splits show that his struggles have come mostly against left-handed pitching (.160/.276/.200), but his low success rate as a basestealer (5-for-9) is something of a disappointment. Even with Rajai Davis on the DL, the Jays elected to keep Gose in an everyday role with Buffalo rather than make him a part of their outfield mix. Still, he's only 22, so his speed continues to make him an intriguing player to stash away in keeper formats.
