Hamilton went 1-for-4 with two strikeouts and was caught stealing for the first time in his career in Wednesday's loss to the Mets.
Catcher Juan Centeno will forever be known as the first man (at the major league level) to ever throw out Hamilton, who was 13-for-13 in stolen base attempts prior to Wednesday. Hamilton picked up another base knock and is now 7-for-18 (.389 average) on the season, but did have a big strikeout in the eighth inning with a man in scoring position. The Reds have been non-committal in regards to whether or not Hamilton will be added to the postseason roster, despite the 23-year-old's four game-tying or go-ahead runs to this point.
